This book deals with 42 ships and their passengers that between 1824 and 1830 brought immigrants to Brazil from Germany and is available in printed book and searchable e-book format.

This book is an English edition of the Portuguese version of the book “German Immigration in Brazil: Ships and Passengers from 1824 to 1830” 7th edition, 2024.

In the 42 ships covered in this book, a large part of the passengers are immigrants who came to various Brazilian states: Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Pernambuco and Bahia.

We have detected a series of historical corrections that are part of this book.

Basically, the book provides a summary with details of the ship, place of departure and arrival, date of departure and arrival, list of passengers (as complete as possible, when available), and basic information about the immigrants, for the most part.
