Dear,

during the year 2017 we began a personal project to rescue information from ships and passengers from the first emigrant period of German settlers to Brazil, more precisely from 1824 to 1828.

From this work came 3 e-books contemplating the German immigration to the State of Rio Grande do Sul:

• German Immigration to Rio Grande do Sul years 1824 and 1825 (Imigração Alemã para o Rio Grande do Sul anos 1824 e 1825);
• German Immigration to Rio Grande do Sul years 1826 and 1827 (Imigração Alemã para o Rio Grande do Sul anos 1826 e 1827)
• German Immigration to Rio Grande do Sul years 1828 to 1830 (Imigração Alemã para o Rio Grande do Sul anos 1828 a 1830).

However, in carrying out the research related to the aforementioned work, we verified that in fact immigration involved several Brazilian states, being difficult to restrict only to the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

During the development of the work we counted on the help of researchers from Brazil, Germany and Holland.
