1st edition 07/2021 117 pages.

1 – Abstract

This book will deal with the ship Johanna Jacoba, which in 1828 brought German immigrants to Brazil, mostly to the south of Brazil, departing from Germany.

On this ship, a good part of the passengers were immigrants who settled in the German colony of São Leopoldo (RS) and some were allocated to the Imperial army.

Basically the book provides a summary with details of the ship, place of departure and arrival, date of departure and arrival, and the list of passengers (as complete as possible, if any), in addition to basic information about immigrants, in most cases.
